• Axel Erlandson
• Erlandson’s formal education ended at the fourth grade. A self-taught surveyor, civil engineer, musician, nurseryman and horticulturalist, Axel developed a hobby and an obsession with guiding the growth of living trees with great precision. I researched and recorded a history of his remarkable life and art.
